I Now Interrupt My Regularly Scheduled Blog...

Just a warning - this blog is not about quilting. It's not even about creativity. I'm breaking some rules with this blog - hijacking it to talk about something entirely different. In all good conscious, I have to. Because I know I've taken my good life, my community, my country, even my planet for granted. And when I look at what's going on right now, I know I can no longer do it. In the last month, I visited both sides of this beautiful continent. Both trips were life-changing and thought-provoking and special. How lucky I am to live in such a beautiful, amazing, place of abundance, opportunity and freedom. Imperfect Perfection

In September I participated in the Cloud 9 Blog Hop. I was excited about my design for it as it is the first thing I've really designed using EQ7 ever. And I was quite pleased with the way it turned out, both the block and the potentially larger quilt. I spent quite a bit of time playing with it, even after I had decided on the final design, because EQ7 is a little addicting, really. You can easily change designs, fabrics, colors and before you know it you've spent - oh, I don't know - FOUR HOURS! just playing. Oh well - they were fun hours at least. A Complete Waste of Time

Here is a piece I've been working on - it's going g to get its own blog, it has been so challenging! More on it later. (But just gotta love those #Allison Glass fabrics . Wow - I've almost gone an entire month without blogging again! I apologize to my faithful followers. I simply have let bogging and many other things fall to the wayside. Mostly because of disorganization, really - and lack of discipline, and so many other reasons, including lack of commitment. so I have learned. I shall explain.
